Dr. Srinivas Singaram is trained in anterior segment surgery and performs cataract extraction by Phacoemulsification technique (no stitch) with intra ocular lens implantation, glaucoma surgeries (trabeculectomy, cyclodiodephotocoagulation) and oculoplastic surgeries (surgeries on lids). He is also trained in medical retinal conditions and an expert in treating diabetic eye disease, age related macular degeneration, uveitis and various other medical retinal conditions. He performs laser procedures like argon laser photocoagulation for diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, age related macular degeneration and yag laser treatments for thickened posterior capsule after cataract surgery, angle closure glaucoma. He also treats ARMD by photodynamic therapy and Intravitreal injections of Lucentis and Avastin etc. Performs LASIK to correct the refractive errors to get rid of the need for the glasses.
