Dr. Srinivas Singaram worked as an assistant professor for several years in Osmania General Hospital, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital. Hyderabad before moving to the UK where he worked in different capacities including consultant ophthalmologist for nearly 8 years in Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Lancaster, Kent county Ophthalmic Hospital, Maidstone and Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. He was active in academic activities and was participant in research projects. He has publications in reputed peer reviewed journals to his credit.

Dr. Srinivas Singaram trained in General Ophthalmology during his post graduation in MS in Sarojini Devi Eye hospital and performed all kinds of eye surgeries. He was trained in all types of cataract surgeries starting from intracapsular cataract extraction (the old method) to extracapsular cataract extraction( the modern) and the most advanced phacoemulsification surgery. He also performs Yag lasers for posterior capsular thickening, iridotomy for angle closure glaucoma.

He trained in Medical retina in the UK and is a specialist in Medical Retinal diseases, Uveitis and AMD. He administers Argon Green lasers for diabetic retinopathy, retinal holes and intravitreal triamcinolone for CMO. He also has experience working with the most advanced retinal laser PASCAL. He treats Age related macular degeneration by Intravitreal Avastin and Lucentis injections apart from Photodynamic therapy.

He performs LASIK surgery, which is a laser surgery for getting rid of glasses on a state-of-the art- excimer laser machine.

He regularly attends to his patients in his both clinics in DD Colony and ASRao Nagar. All services in ophthalmology including refraction and contact lens prescription/ dispensing are provided in these two clinics.
